This award is especially meaningful to Maxim since it helps to vindicate all of the time, effort and commitment that we are investing in the ultrasound market. When we began developing the MAX2036/8, our goal was to create the industry's highest performing ultrasound front end to complement (and accentuate) the SNR advantages provided by Maxim's existing portfolio of high speed ADCs. In addition to enabling the world's best imaging performance, the MAX2036/8 also serve as the cornerstone of Maxim's ensuing front end portfolio. Our latest product offering, the MAX2078 LNA + VGA + CW Doppler IC, heavily leverages the performance and integration advantages which were first brought to the market via the MAX2036/8 series. This key technology will continue to be leveraged as Maxim pursues further degrees of signal chain integration and innovation.
